Is skip hire Pages Flat the best way to remove rubbish?
Without a doubt! Making dump runs is a waste of time and resources. This is especially true if you’re already in the middle of moving house. Making dump runs means you have to spend money on dumping and on fuel in addition to hours of time and energy.
When you book skips Pages Flat or mini skips Pages Flat , you’re saving yourself hours of time. We deliver your skip on a day of your choosing and when you’re ready, we will take it away again.
We even make it simple to fill your skip bin – there’s a ramp with most skips and you can use a wheelbarrow to fill it up!
What about recycling?
You will be pleased to know that AOT Skip Bins takes recycling seriously. We endeavor to recycle as much as possible. This is part of the reason why we ask for some items to be kept separate in skip bins. We don’t like sending rubbish to landfill – it’s not great for the environment so metals and other recyclables are sorted and processed accordingly.
How do I know which size skip bin to order?
AOT Skip Bins stock skips from 2 cubic metres to 9 cubic metres. 9 cubic metres is pretty big! If you have a lot of waste and want to make the most of your skip bin, stack it carefully.
Never throw rubbish into it haphazardly but rather think about placement. For example, flat things such as doors or old wood pieces should be laid down in the base of the skip bin. This allows you to then build bulkier items up around it.
If you’re unsure which size to order, please get in touch and our team will be happy to advise.
Should I have a permit for my skip bin?
No permit is needed if you are placing your skip bin on your own driveway, land or garden. The only time a permit is needed is if you want to place the skip bin on public land such as a footpath.
